Australian Tennis Foundation uses tennis as a vehicle to reduce social disadvantage and increase social cohesion by improving access and equity to tennis for young people, and by developing a sense of belonging and community through their experience with tennis.

Target group

Children and young people aged 5 to 24 years facing misfortune, adversity, poverty, distress and/or social or geographical disadvantage.

Our Impact

• Provided over 178,000 hours of joy to over 46,000 kids and families facing adversity.
• Over 124,000 opportunities for disadvantaged kids to play and belong.
• Over $440,000 of financial assistance to support opportunities for participation and employment.
• More than 12,400 tennis racquets, balls and nets provided to disadvantaged communities across Australia.
