ABOUT Ava & Ivy Netball
Ava and Ivy are two dedicated young athletes from Coffs Harbour who have been selected into multiple representative netball pathways across NSW — a reflection of their hard work, commitment, and growing potential in the sport.
They are part of a growing group of regional athletes working their way through recognised state pathways — representing both their community and their potential.
This season, they are stepping into higher levels of competition and development, competing against some of the strongest athletes in the state — and pushing themselves to see how far they can go.
Their Journey
Both Ava and Ivy have been selected across several representative and development programs, including:
- Under 15s Bellingen Representative Netball
- North Coast Academy of Sport (NCAS)
- North Coast Netball (state pathway program)
- Mid North Coast Open Women’s competitions
Their schedules reflect the level they are now competing at — with training and games across 4+ days each week, alongside school commitments and ongoing development.
About Ava
Ava is a goal shooter (GS/GA) who thrives in high-pressure moments.
She was selected into the Division 1 NCAS squad for the Tamworth Challenge, competing at a higher level of competition.
Netball is more than just a sport for her — it’s where she feels a true sense of belonging. She values the team environment, the friendships, and the shared goal of working together to achieve something bigger.
Quiet by nature, Ava leads through her actions. She brings a calm, composed presence to the court — but underneath is a fiercely competitive and intense mindset. She thrives on the contest, stays level under pressure, and brings a controlled edge that her teammates rally around and draw confidence from.
About Ivy
Ivy is a defensive player (GK/GD) known for her determination and intensity on court.
She was also selected to compete at the NCAS Tamworth Challenge, continuing to test herself against strong opposition.
Ivy is fiercely competitive and brings relentless effort to every game. During last year’s representative season, she pushed herself to her limits — giving everything she had across the tournament.
Her passion, resilience, and drive make netball a central part of her life, and she consistently shows up ready to compete.
