I am currently in Go Karting which is the grass roots first step towards a career in Motorsport.

My father is a huge fan of Formula One and has followed the sport his whole life. He is my biggest fan and my main support.

He sacrifices nights, weekends and many early mornings to get me to as many events and training sessions as he can.

With so many actual parts of the Go Kart being consumables and prone to wear and tear and damage every time I am out on the track, this sport is extremely expensive.

Both my parents do what they can to get me what I need but it is, at times overwhelming.

There is a known unbalanced advantage in this sport afforded to those that come from wealthy families who can easily cover these costs for as long as necessary, which means the every day, average young driver who has the talent, but not the funds, will never make it far.

With the help of fund raising I hope to ease the pressure on my parents, but at the same time represent the Aussie youth that want to make it into International professional Motorsport and bring awareness to the issue whilst hopefully showing that the dream is achievable for someone like me! 

Lewis Hamilton is trying to raise awareness of this same fact…..that currently if you don’t have money, you don’t make it….

I am asking for your help towards supporting more young Australians in entering Professional Motorsport on the world stage….and to get me where I need to go for a real shot at it….the rest is up to me!! Thanks for reading.
