Supporting Bailey Walker’s Softball Dream

Who We Are

We are the Walker family from South East Queensland, proud parents of Bailey Walker, a hardworking and dedicated young athlete who has a passion for softball. As a family, we have always encouraged Bailey to chase his dreams, work hard, and never give up on the goals he sets for himself.

Bailey has been playing softball since he was six years old and has devoted countless hours to training, travelling, and competing at the highest level possible for his age. His commitment, determination, and love for the game have led him to achieve incredible milestones, including selection in the Australian Under 14 Men’s Softball Squad and the Queensland Under 16 Squad.

What We Are Raising Funds For

We are raising funds to help cover the significant costs associated with Bailey representing both Queensland and Australia in softball. While being selected for these teams is an incredible honour, much of the expense is self-funded by athletes and their families.

Funds raised will assist with:

Travel expenses

Accommodation costs

Team uniforms and playing equipment

Training camps and squad commitments

Tournament and participation fees

Transportation to and from events

Ongoing development opportunities

These expenses quickly add up, and we want to ensure Bailey can take advantage of every opportunity presented to him without financial barriers standing in the way.

Why This Matters to Us

This journey is about much more than softball. It is about supporting a young athlete who has worked tirelessly to achieve his goals and who continues to show dedication, discipline, and resilience every single day.

Bailey trains five days a week while balancing school, family commitments, and representative sport. He has sacrificed countless hours to improve his skills and pursue his dream of representing Australia at the highest level.

As parents, we have watched Bailey grow from a young boy with a glove and a dream into a talented athlete proudly wearing Queensland and Australian colours. We believe that hard work should be rewarded, and we are committed to helping him continue his journey.

How We Plan to Make This Happen

We will be raising funds through community support, sponsorships, raffles, fundraising events, cook-ups, and donations from generous individuals and businesses who believe in supporting young athletes.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly towards helping Bailey attend training camps, tournaments, and representative commitments. We will continue to work hard as a family to contribute ourselves, while also seeking support from our community to help make these opportunities possible.
