The Bankstown Bruins are a community-driven basketball club based in Bankstown, New South Wales, dedicated to fostering athletic development, teamwork, and community spirit. Established over 40 years ago, our club provides opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels, from junior programs to senior competitive teams. We are proud to be a cornerstone of the Canterbury-Bankstown community, promoting health, inclusion, and sportsmanship through basketball. Our volunteers, coaches, and members work together to create a supportive environment that empowers individuals and strengthens community bonds.

What We’re Raising Funds For

The Bankstown Bruins are raising funds to support our youth development programs, upgrade our training facilities, and ensure accessibility for all community members. Specifically, our fundraising efforts will focus on:

• Junior Basketball Programs: Providing affordable training camps, coaching clinics, and equipment for young players to develop their skills and passion for the sport.
• Facility Upgrades: Improving our courts and facilities at the Bankstown Basketball Stadium to ensure a safe and modern environment for training and competitions.

• Team Equipment and Uniforms: Ensuring all players have access to quality gear to compete confidently and safely.
• International and Domestic Competitions: Providing financial support for teams, players and their families abroad.
