Help Our Coaches Help Our Swimmers Succeed

For more than 100 years, Bathurst City Amateur Swimming Club has been helping local children build confidence, develop life skills, and achieve their swimming goals.

Every Friday night, our swimmers step onto the blocks to challenge themselves, improve their personal best times, and celebrate their progress alongside teammates and families. Many of these young athletes go on to represent Bathurst at regional, country, state and even national championships.

Behind every swimmer is a coach.

Our coaches volunteer countless hours on pool decks, at training sessions, and at competitions, giving our swimmers the support, guidance and encouragement they need to reach their potential. They do this because they genuinely care about helping local kids succeed.

Unfortunately, when swimmers qualify for major competitions, our coaches often pay for their own travel, accommodation, fuel and other expenses so they can be there to support them.

This year, one of our swimmers achieved the incredible milestone of qualifying for the National Championships in Brisbane. While it was a proud moment for our club, it cost our coach thousands of dollars to attend and provide the support that helped make that achievement possible.

That's why we're fundraising.

Every dollar raised will help cover travel and accommodation costs for our coaches when they attend regional, country, state and national competitions with our swimmers.

Your donation isn't just helping a coach get to a carnival. It's helping young swimmers receive expert support, encouragement and guidance when it matters most.

Together, we can ensure that no coach is left out-of-pocket for supporting our athletes, and no swimmer misses the opportunity to have their coach by their side.
