I started playing hockey at the age of eight, and from the very beginning, my goal has been to improve my skills and knowledge every year I play. Since then, I have been fortunate to represent my state on three occasions—twice in the Under-12s and now in the Under-14s. I pride myself on being a natural communicator with the ability to read the play, which allows me to organize and lead the defensive unit in every team I am part of. While I know there is still so much to learn, I feel grateful to have had the guidance of experienced coaches who continue to help me grow as both a player and a teammate.
