Being selected to represent Australia, this time at the 2026 Powerchair Football World Cup being held in Argentina this October, is one of the greatest honours of my life. As the only female player on this squad, and one of the very few female powerchair footballers who compete at the highest level, I also take great pride in using this opportunity to champion female athletes and female inclusion on the world stage.

But unfortunately, this representation is costly! Our team doesn't receive any financial support, meaning every player is responsible for funding their own travel, accommodation, and tournament expenses. As someone who relies on support workers to travel, my costs are even higher. Along with my own flights and accommodation, I also need to cover flights, accommodation and other expenses for my support workers out of my own pocket too.

That’s why I’m asking for your help.

Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards making this journey possible. Your support won’t just help me get to the this World Cup, it will help ensure that I can continue to represent Australia at, hopefully, many more international tournaments to come.
