ABOUT Ben Holliday
Meet Ben Holliday, a talented South Australian, with his sights set on a future in motorsport. In 2026 Ben will once again compete in the TGRA Scholarship Series. The 2026 series kicks off in March, with rounds scheduled at Winton Motor Raceway (VIC), The Bend (SA), One Raceway (NSW), Sydney Motorsport Park (NSW), and concludes with the final round at Queensland Raceway (QLD) in August.
The TGRA Scholarship Series offers young drivers the chance to sharpen their circuit racing skills in a safe, competitive environment—behind the wheel of a Toyota 86 race car. However, pursuing this dream comes with significant costs, including entry fees, team support, car preparation, travel, equipment, and other racing expenses.
In 2025, Ben completed his first full season in the TGRA Scholarship Series. The five-round championship began at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit in March and wrapped up at The Bend Motorsport Park in August. Across 15 races, Ben achieved a best finish of fourth place, along with four Top 10 results. Covering nearly 20,000 km throughout the season - it was a big year!
Ben’s passion for racing started at just six years old when he first jumped into a go-kart. Since then, he’s been a regular contender in the Australian Kart Championship, a five-round national series. His record includes two round wins and six podium finishes, showcasing his talent and determination. In the 2024 championship, Ben secured a round victory and a podium finish, led the standings for the first three rounds, and ultimately claimed fourth overall in his debut year in the Senior TAG125 category.
Adding to his achievements, Ben is proud to be one of 100 athletes selected for the Aussie Athlete Fund’s $1 Million Challenge. Following on from the $1 Million Challenge Ben has also been selected to continue with the Aussie Athlete Fund's Elevate program. Founded by five-time Olympian Nat Cook, this initiative aims to directly support Australia’s next generation of elite athletes by providing fund raising education, inspiration, mentoring and ongoing support.
