    ABOUT Ben Tullipan

    Upper Coomera, QLD

Introducing Ben Tullipan. A remarkable Australian overcoming catastrophic injuries and being given a second chance of life. Spent months in hospital and years working towards recovery aiming to represent his country at the G4D (Golf for the Disabled) Tour in 2026, a world class event aligned with the DP World Tour and EDGA, showcasing the world’s best golfers with disabilities from nations including Australia, USA, UK, Belgium, Japan, South Africa, and more.

This is more than a sponsorship request, it’s an invitation to stand alongside an individual whose courage and resilience has already inspired countless others.

Ben Tullipan from the Gold Coast, is the most seriously injured survivor of the 2002 Bali Bombings. He lost both legs and suffered 63% full-thickness burns. He was 27 at the time, with only a 5% chance of survival, he was medically evacuated home by the Australian Air Force on a Hercules plane. From his first tee shot as a double amputee on prosthetic legs, Ben has defied all odds to now compete at an international level.

In 2011 Ben was featured in a documentary produced by actor and humanitarian Sean Penn, which chronicles the transformation of his life after having his world torn apart by terrorism.

In 2020, he was honoured to have been offered a position in the The New Zealand Open Golf Tournament as 1 of only 4 invitational competitors. They included an All Abilities field to play alongside the professional golfers….. same course, same holes, same tees.
