ABOUT Ben Zanatta Creagh
🔍 Fundraising story (Ben Zanatta Creagh)
My name is Ben Zanatta Creagh. I’m 16 years old, from Dee Why on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, and I’ve grown up with the ocean as my backyard. Surfing isn’t just something I do it’s what my life has revolved around since the day I started. Early mornings, cold-water sessions, and day to day training have built a bond with the ocean that shaped my love for surfing and my drive to keep pushing.
Over the last few years, that work has turned into results. I’ve won the Australian Junior Under-18 title and the NSW Under-18 title, and those wins helped me qualify for the ISA World Games. But for me, this isn’t the finish line it’s a major step toward the dream I’ve been chasing for as long as I can remember.
My end goal is to compete on the Championship Tour, lining up against the best surfers in the world, and ultimately becoming a World Champion.
Right now, I’m at a fork in the road.
To compete at the ISA World Games and keep building toward the pathway that leads to the Championship Tour, I need support to cover the real costs that come with performing at this level, travel, accommodation, event fees, equipment, and preparation. These aren’t “nice to have” costs. They directly affect whether I can get to the right events, train properly, and show up ready when it counts.
Your donation doesn’t just help me get on a plane. It helps put me in the water, in the right place, at the right time, with the training and equipment I need to compete against the best. It’s a chance to back a young surfer from Dee Why who’s working every day to turn a big goal into reality and to keep moving from junior titles to the highest level of the sport.
If I reach this fundraising goal, I can take on the ISA World Games fully prepared and keep momentum toward my bigger mission: earning my place among the world’s best on the Championship Tour. If I don’t, the opportunity becomes harder to access, and the progress I’ve worked years for risks being slowed down by costs that training alone can’t solve.
If you believe in backing hard work and big goals, I’m asking you to donate what you can and share my story with anyone who might connect with it. Every contribution makes a real difference and you’ll be part of what helps me chase the dream.
