HELP US SECURE THE FUTURE OF OUR COURSE AND CONSERVE VALUABLE WATER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
Benalla Golf Club is undertaking a critical upgrade to its irrigation system—one that will reduce water use, improve playing conditions, and future-proof our course for generations to come.
We recently funded $ 75,000 of irrigation infrastructure for Stage 1 of our Irrigation Project. In addition we provided over 200 hours of staff time supplemented with 100 hours contributed by our amazing club volunteers. We were unsuccessful in our grant application for Stage 2 and now need to raise $111000 to see the project to completion.

Why This Matters
Our current irrigation system is decades old.
It is inefficient, inconsistent, and increasingly unreliable—requiring more water to deliver lower-quality results. At a time when water is one of our most valuable resources, this is simply not sustainable.
Without action, course quality will decline, costs will rise, and our ability to serve the community will be compromised.

A Club at the Heart of the Community
Benalla Golf Club is more than a golf course.
We welcome over 30,000 rounds of golf each year providig a space for:
- Local families and social connection
- Over 500 golfing members and 1100 social members
- Junior development and participation
- Events, visitors, and regional tourism
Over 70 volunteers support club activities, assisting with maintenance, governance, events, mentoring, communication and marketing.
Your support will protect and strengthen a facility that plays an important role in the life of our community.
Where Your Donation Goes
Your contribution directly supports the delivery of Stage 2 of the irrigation project.

- $100 helps fund system cabling and connectivity
- $250 supports installation of control infrastructure
- $500 contributes to valves and on-course hardware
