My Canoe Polo Story:
I’m incredibly proud to have been selected to represent Australia in the U21 Australian Women’s Canoe Polo Team at the 2026 Canoe Polo World Championships in Germany.
Canoe polo has been a huge part of my life, and representing Australia on the world stage is an opportunity I’m extremely grateful for. Competing internationally requires a significant commitment to training, teamwork, and development, and I’m excited to continue pushing myself at the highest level of the sport.
My first opportunity to represent Australia was at the 2023 Oceania Championships in New Zealand, where I competed with the Australian U18 Women’s Canoe Polo Team and we placed 3rd overall. Since then, I have continued competing at a high level, representing the Queensland Women’s team at the Australian Canoe Polo Championships, where we have won the national title for the past two years and will be defending it again in April 2026.
In 2024, I represented Australia at the Canoe Polo World Championships in China as part of the U21 Australian Women’s Team. Our team made history as the first Australian U21 women’s team to compete at the World Championships, finishing 7th after entering the competition ranked 18th.
In 2025, I competed again for Australia at the U21 Oceania Championships held in Queensland, where we won gold, defeating the New Zealand U21 team for the first time, a team that had previously placed 3rd at the 2024 World Championships.
While representing Australia is an incredible honour, canoe polo athletes largely self-fund the costs associated with competing internationally. These costs include travel, accommodation, training camps, equipment, uniforms, and competition expenses.
I’m raising funds to help cover these costs so I can travel to Germany with my team, the Australian U21 Women's and compete at the 2026 World Championships. Any support, big or small, will make a huge difference and help me represent Australia on the world stage.
Thank you so much for supporting my journey.
