Objectives of the Foundation:Promoting Rugby Union &amp; Player Development<ul><li>Support the growth of rugby at all levels within Blue Mountains Rugby Club.</li><li>Invest in initiatives that enhance community engagement (eg game day themes like Multicultural Day, targeted local advertising, etc.).</li><li>Invest in initiatives that improve player development from Colts (Under 21s) to Seniors.</li><li>Support Blue Mountains Junior Rugby Club (Blue Tongues) where feasible and appropriate.</li></ul>Ensuring Blue Mountains Rugby Club’s Financial Strength &amp; Stability<ul><li>Build a sustainable financial base to support the club’s long-term success.</li><li>Provide a source of flexible funding to address key priorities as they arise.</li></ul>Supporting Coaches &amp; Building Rugby Programs<ul><li>Invest in coaching development to improve playing standards (eg financial assistance for young coaches to obtain further accreditation).</li><li>Strengthen pathways between our Juniors (Blue Tongues), Colts (Under 21s), and Senior Grades.</li></ul>Improving Blue Mountains Rugby Facilities &amp; Equipment<ul><li>Maintain and improve club infrastructure to ensure the club continues to provide fit-for-purpose facilities to our players and supporters.</li><li>Fund the acquisition of new equipment and assets for training and game days.</li></ul>Honouring the History &amp; Traditions of the Blue Mountains Rugby Club<ul><li>Preserve and celebrate the club’s legacy (eg investing in display platforms such as trophy cabinets, framing, and multimedia for club memorabilia).</li><li>Strengthen ties between past and present players, ensuring the club remains a home for all who have worn the double blue jersey.</li></ul>Engaging &amp; Supporting the Blue Mountains Rugby Club Community<ul><li>Develop initiatives that encourage networking between current and former players, supporters and sponsors.</li><li>Encourage community involvement and outreach programs to promote rugby in the Blue Mountains region.</li></ul>Creating a Future Fund for Long-Term Success<ul><li>Establish a financial foundation to safeguard the club’s future.</li><li>Build a lasting legacy of financial support to keep Blue Mountains Rugby Club strong for future generations. </li></ul>Tax Deductions<ul><li>Donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible through the Australian Sports Foundation—please give generously.</li><li>To ensure the ongoing success of this initiative, we encourage recurring donations, even small amounts ($5–$10 per week or month).</li></ul> Please contact our club representatives if you have any questions.
