Our Story

Blue 31 Incorporated has been established to strengthen football pathways and community connection across Northern Tasmania.

At its core, Blue 31 is about creating opportunity — for young players, for coaches, and for the broader community. We believe football can play a powerful role not just in developing athletes, but in building confidence, leadership, and a lifelong connection to community.

Our focus is simple and practical.

We aim to support and enhance football programs at Launceston Church Grammar School, Old Launcestonians Football Club, and across the wider region by investing in people and delivering structured, high-quality programs.

This includes:

• Supporting the development of players at all levels
• Providing mentoring and education for coaches
• Delivering community-based football programs in schools and regional areas
• Creating stronger links between school, club, and community football

We care deeply about this because we see both the opportunity and the gap.

There are many talented young people in our region who would benefit from better support, clearer pathways, and stronger connection to the game. At the same time, clubs and schools are often working hard in isolation, without the resources or structure to maximise their impact.

Blue 31 exists to bring these pieces together.

Our approach is hands-on and community-driven. We will deliver targeted programs, engage experienced players and leaders as mentors, and work closely with schools and clubs to ensure initiatives are relevant, sustainable, and impactful.

Importantly, this is not a short-term project. Blue 31 is designed to build something lasting — a stronger, more connected football ecosystem that benefits current and future generations.

Funds raised will directly support program delivery, including coaching resources, community sessions, travel to regional areas, and the engagement of experienced football leaders to mentor and develop participants.

Blue 31 is led by people with strong ties to the local community and a genuine commitment to making a difference through football.

We are passionate about creating opportunities, strengthening connections, and ensuring that more people can experience the benefits of being involved in the game.
