Meet Blythe, Alexis, and Eve – a talented trio from Gladesville Gymnastics Club who have been selected to represent Australia in May 2026 at the international Acrobatic Gymnastics Competition in Bulgaria.

These dedicated young athletes train over 5 days a week, balancing school, missing social events, and pushing through exhaustion – all in pursuit of their dream: performing on the world stage and earning a spot at the 2026 Junior World Championships.

Acrobatic gymnastics is a breathtaking sport that combines strength, balance, and daring dynamic throws with graceful choreography – all performed in perfect sync. It demands complete trust, teamwork, and resilience.

But here's the challenge: Acrobatic Gymnastics receives no government funding in Australia. That means every cost – from flights and accommodation to leotards, coaching, and entry fees – must be covered by the athletes and their families.
