My name is Brandon Bird. I have just completed year 11 Trinity College, Perth. I row in the 1st VIII boat. I hope to study Engineering when I finish year 12.

    As a senior Trinity College student and rower in the 1st VIII boat, I have been provided with the unreal opportunity to compete at the prestigious Henley Royal Regatta in England. This regatta forms part of a larger Trinity College UK rowing development tour. This rowing experience will allow me to race against some of the best rowers in the world, challenge myself and enhance my rowing journey greatly.


    Rowing has taught me self-discipline, provided personal growth, resilience, leadership and teamwork. This international school tour provides a chance to represent Trinity College at the highest level on the international stage and an opportunity that I could only dream of when I started my rowing journey at school.
