At Brighton Bulldogs FC, we are raising funds to improve both the quantity and quality of equipment available to our MiniRoos players (Under 6 to Under 12). These are the formative years when children first experience football, and we believe it is vital that every player has access to engaging, age-appropriate training equipment that helps them learn, develop and most importantly, enjoy the game.

We care deeply about this project because grassroots sport is about much more than football. It is about helping children fall in love with being active, spending time outdoors, building friendships, learning teamwork and becoming part of a supportive community. Positive experiences at a young age often determine whether children continue participating in sport throughout their lives. We want every child who joins our club to feel welcomed, included and excited to return each week.

The equipment we are seeking will help our coaches deliver higher-quality training sessions that are fun, engaging and focused on skill development. Additional balls, goals, agility equipment, markers and training aids will allow us to better cater for growing participation numbers while ensuring players receive more touches on the ball and greater opportunities to learn. By investing in modern training equipment, we can help our players progressively develop their technical skills, confidence and understanding of the game each year.

The club is committed to providing an inclusive, affordable and welcoming environment for players of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. We work hard to keep participation costs low while delivering quality football experiences that strengthen community connections and encourage lifelong involvement in sport.

With the support of this funding, we will be able to purchase new MiniRoos training equipment, equip our volunteer coaches with the resources they need to deliver effective sessions, and create an environment where every child can develop their skills, build confidence and enjoy being part of our football family.
