ABOUT Bundaberg and District Table Tennis Association
What we're raising funds for:
We're raising funds to keep table tennis accessible to everyone in the Bundaberg community — from first-timers to state and national representatives. Your support helps us run junior coaching programs, dedicated Women & Girls sessions, inclusive programs for players with disabilities, and PingPongParkinson sessions that use the sport to help manage Parkinson's symptoms. It also helps us get our top players to State and National tournaments, where they compete — and win — on behalf of Bundaberg.
Why we care:
Table tennis is one of the most inclusive sports there is — fast, social, and genuinely open to any age or ability. We've seen it build confidence in kids just starting out, give women and girls a space of their own on the table, help players with disabilities compete and thrive, and offer real, tangible benefits to people living with Parkinson's. We care about keeping that door open for everyone, regardless of ability to pay.
How we plan to make it happen:
Funds raised go directly toward coaching, equipment, venue costs, and travel support for players heading to State and National competitions. Every dollar keeps our programs running and our doors open to new players.
Who we are:
We're the Bundaberg & District Table Tennis Association — a community club built by volunteers, coaches, and players who believe the sport should be for everyone. From weekly social hits to athletes representing Queensland on the national stage, we're proud of the community we've built one rally at a time.
