My fundraising is going toward my trip in December where I am representing Australia as an athlete in the Australian U21 Men’s Country hockey team. I have played hockey for almost my entire life, but living in regional Victoria makes it difficult to play representative hockey, as the local leagues are slowly depleting. I recently competed in the Australian Country championships earlier this year representing the SA men’s country hockey team, where I was then selected for the Australian U21 team. I am currently completing year 12 with the hopes of going to university in the following years, so balancing school and sport has made this year difficult. It is my biggest dream to represent Australia in the sport I love, so I hope these funds will help make that possible.
