Hi, I'm Caitlin Shaw – an ILCA 6 sailor from Perth, Western Australia. I’m a passionate athlete with big dreams: to represent Australia on the world stage and compete at the Olympic Games.

My Goal

My mission is to qualify for the Australian Sailing Team and ultimately earn a place at the Olympic Games. It’s a demanding journey that requires relentless dedication, expert coaching, and extensive international racing experience.

Training Hard, Dreaming Big

With the incredible support of Fremantle Sailing Club and my strength & conditioning team at Jump Lift Run, I’m training for a packed and challenging competitive season. I’ll be competing across Australia and overseas to build the skills and results necessary for national team selection.

Why I Need Your Support

High-performance sailing is an incredible pursuit—but it comes with significant financial demands. Costs for travel, coaching, equipment, regatta entry, and on-water support add up quickly.

I'm currently fully self-funded, balancing my training with work as a relief teacher and outdoor education instructor. To give back to the sport that I love, I coach younger sailors and run Learn to Sail programs, with the goal of inspiring the next generation
