Hi, I'm Caitlyn Bowell, a Paediatric Registered Nurse and Elite Sprint Canoe Athlete from Brisbane, proudly chasing my dream of representing Australia at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

I'm raising funds to help support my journey to the Olympics, covering essential expenses such as training, specialised equipment, physiotherapy, recovery, and travel to interstate and international competitions. These costs add up quickly, and every contribution helps me stay focused on training and performing at my best.

Sport has always been a huge part of my life. Since winning my first medal at 11, I've dedicated myself to pushing my limits, staying disciplined, and striving for progress, not perfection. I've been fortunate to become State and National Champion across three sports in Australia, but my biggest motivation has always been more than medals, it's about growth, resilience, and inspiring others to chase their own dreams.

Balancing full-time nursing shift work with elite-level training hasn't been easy, but it's taught my the power of persistence and community support. As a nurse, I care deeply about health and wellbeing; as an athlete, I am to lead by example, showing that with hard work, belief and balance, incredible things are possible.

Reaching the Olympics would be a dream come true, not just for me, but for everyone who's believed in and supported this journey. More importantly, I hope my story can encourage young athletes to believe in themselves, even when the path gets tough.
