ABOUT Cameron Goodrich
Hi, I’m Cameron Goodrich, an L1 incomplete paraplegic from Brisbane, Australia.
A devastating car accident left me with life-changing injuries, but it sparked a fierce passion for paracanoe. As a dedicated KL3 athlete, I train relentlessly on the Goldcoast waterways—building power, technique, and resilience for 200m sprint races in my adapted kayak.
This sport is my way to reclaim freedom on the water, push beyond limits, and inspire others facing challenges to chase their dreams. My ultimate goal: represent Australia at the Paralympic Games and show what’s truly possible.
The path demands specialized gear, coaching, travel, and competition costs that I can’t cover alone. Your support changes everything—funding my training and the journey to qualification.
Every donation helps, and through the Australian Sports Foundation, gifts over $2 are tax-deductible with 100% going straight to my campaign. This will help will travel costs, paddles and training equipment. Working full time and training gets pretty expensive so anything helps.
Join me in turning conviction into reality. Donate today and help paddle toward gold for Australia.
Thank you for believing in this journey.
I'm proud to be part of the Aussie Athlete Fund's Million Dollar Challenge. The Challenge aims to pair 100 athletes with 100 businesses with the purpose of raising $10,000 for the athlete, aiming for a collective $1 Million to support our sporting dreams.
Competing internationally is incredibly challenging, both physically and financially. Many of us rely on fundraising to represent Australia on the global stage. The $1 Million Challenge, driven by 5-time Olympian Nat Cook OAM, helps break down athletes' financial barriers by providing fundraising education and assistance from businesses and/or employees of businesses.
