    ABOUT Camilla Barbi

    Floreat, WA

Hi, I'm Camilla — a 17-year-old kayak and canoe athlete from Floreat, WA.

Paddling has been my life for years, and 2026 has been my biggest year yet. I competed at Grand Prix 1 & 2, State Championships, and the Australian Nationals — where I won two national titles across WK1 and WC1, plus two silvers and a bronze. I've also raced internationally before, qualifying for the ICF Canoe Marathon U18 World Championship in Hungary last year.

This year I've been selected to represent Australia at the Asia Pacific Championship in New Zealand — my first time on the Australian team in sprint. I'll also be racing at the NZL Nationals in April and an ICF international event in Auronzo di Cadore, Italy in July.

I'm so proud of what I've achieved — but getting to these events is expensive. Flights, accommodation, race entries, and boat transport across two countries add up fast, and Paddle Australia only covers part of the cost.

Any donation — big or small — goes directly toward getting me to the start line. And every donation is fully tax deductible through the Australian Sports Foundation.

Thank you so much for your support. It genuinely means everything. 🙏
