Following in her older sister's footsteps—who played for State with NSW, represented multiple Junior Australian teams, competed in the WNBL for Sydney Flames, Bendigo Spirit and Melbourne Boomers, and represented the New Zealand National Team—Cassie has significant achievements to aspire to.

Beginning her basketball journey at age 11 and overcoming various challenges, Cassie has received ongoing support from her family, coaches, and friends, which has helped her develop her skills and earn selection to the Under 16 Queensland South State Team.
