ABOUT Charlie Box
My name is Kylie Box, and I'm the proud mum of 16-year-old Charlie Box, a dedicated young saddle bronc rider from Warwick, Queensland.
We’re reaching out to raise funds to help Charlie represent Australia at the Professional Youth Roughstock Association World Finals in Ada, Oklahoma, USA in October 2025. Charlie has just been officially selected to join the Australian Team — a massive honour and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for this hardworking young cowboy.
Charlie has been riding since he was little, and saddle bronc riding quickly became his passion. He trains hard, competes regularly and carries a quiet determination that shows in every ride. This selection is a dream come true — but getting to the USA, with flights, travel insurance, accommodation and gear, will come with a significant cost.
Here’s an excerpt from the letter Charlie received:
"Congratulations on your selection to compete on the Australian Team at the Professional Youth Roughstock Association World Finals in Ada, Oklahoma. You’ll be representing Australia in early October 2025!
We are so excited to have you on board with this exciting journey and to have you as our representative. I know you will do your community proud and represent your country with pride."
We’re asking for your support to help us make this trip a reality. Every donation — big or small — will go directly towards covering the costs of getting Charlie to the USA and giving him the chance to represent Australia on the world stage.
Charlie is incredibly humbled by this opportunity and is ready to give it everything he’s got. We’re also exploring fundraising events and community sponsorships and will keep everyone updated along the way.
Thank you for believing in Charlie and supporting a young Aussie chasing his rodeo dreams. Let’s get him to Oklahoma!
