What We Are Raising Funds For & Why We Care
Reaching the national podium requires immense dedication—not just in effort, but logistically and financially. The annual cost of competing at this elite level exceeds $15,000. High-performance racing tech suits cost over $600 each and last only 6–10 swims, while interstate flights, event accommodation, race fees and state pathway levies mount rapidly throughout the season.
Because traditional government grants use postcode-based algorithms that exclude our local area, we rely heavily on the support of our incredible community, service clubs, and individual backers to keep Charlotte on the starting blocks. We care deeply about this project because financial barriers should never stand in the way of a dedicated young athlete reaching her true potential.
How We Plan to Make It Happen
Through our partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation, every donation of $2 or more is 100% tax-deductible for individuals and businesses alike. 100% of the funds raised through this page go directly toward offsetting her primary athletic costs:
- High-Performance Gear: Funding racing tech suits, mandatory state representative uniforms, and specialised training equipment.
- Championship Travel: Covering flights, transport, and athlete accommodation for National pool, surf and aquathlon campaigns.
- Competition Costs: Offsetting event entry fees and state representative pathway levies.
Thank you for backing a local champion and helping Charlotte reach the highest levels of Australian sport!
