I am raising funds to support my travel to attend several important netball events throughout 2026. I have recently been selected to represent North West Queensland at the 16–19 Years State Championships in May, which is something I have worked towards for many years. Being chosen to play at this level is a huge milestone for me and a reflection of the dedication and hard work I have put into my netball journey.

In addition to playing, I have also been invited to umpire at the Senior State Age Carnival in Townsville in April, as well as the Country Cup Carnival in Mackay in early May. These opportunities are incredibly important to me, as they will help me continue progressing as an umpire and work towards achieving my National B Badge—something I am unable to pursue locally due to the limitations of living in a remote area. I have been travelling to umpire at state championships for the past five years and achieved my National C Badge nearly three years ago, so this is the next big step in my development.

Netball is a huge part of my life, and I am passionate about both playing and umpiring. It is a long-term dream of mine to one day represent at the highest level—whether that be as a player or an umpire—even at events as significant as the Olympics. I am committed to doing everything I can to make that dream a reality.

Living in a remote area means that travel comes at a significant cost. Flights alone can exceed $1,500 return, and when combined with accommodation, transport, and event expenses for carnivals that run between three to six days, the financial burden quickly adds up.

To support my goals, I actively give back to my community by volunteering as a coach and umpire mentor, sharing my knowledge and passion with younger players and officials. I also take on paid umpiring opportunities whenever possible to contribute towards my expenses.

Any support will help me take the next step in my netball journey and continue pursuing my goals both on and off the court.
