Hi my name is Charlotte and I am 10 years old, I live in Wilton and I do Taekwondo.

I started when I was 6 years old and I have been training since. I train 5 days a week at Martial Arts Spirit Oran Park. I get up really early before school to go for a run and then to Oran Park after school. Sometimes I get really tired but I love it so I keep going.

This year I found out that I got selected to go to the Chuncheon Korea Open in South Korea in July! It is one of the biggest Taekwondo competitions in the world and kids come from everywhere to compete. When I found out I was going I was so happy and excited I cried.

The problem is it costs a lot of money to get there. We have to pay for flights and a hotel and my registration and all my gear. Mum and dad are trying really hard but they said we need help from our community to make it happen.

If you could help me even a little bit it would mean so much. I just want to get on the mat in Korea and do my best. I have been training so hard for this and I really don't want to miss it.
