ABOUT Charlotte Oliphant
We are raising funds to support Henry and Charlotte in their Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey as they train, compete, and represent Western Australia at national and international events. This includes major competitions across Australia, as well as overseas opportunities in Japan and the United Kingdom. The funding will go directly towards essential costs such as training, coaching, competition entry fees, travel, and accommodation.
We care deeply about this journey because it is shaping far more than athletic ability—it is building discipline, resilience, and strong character in both children. Through consistent training, healthy lifestyle choices, and a commitment to growth, they are learning how to stay calm under pressure, overcome challenges, and support those around them. What started as a personal pursuit has grown into something bigger, with a positive ripple effect on their friends, school community, and family, encouraging others to adopt healthier, more active lifestyles.
We plan to make this happen through a combination of structured training, regular competition, and strong support from coaches, family, and community. They train consistently each week across multiple disciplines, and we are committed as a family to providing the time, structure, and environment needed for them to succeed. Alongside this, we are seeking partnerships with like-minded organisations who value hard work, consistency, and community impact.
We are a family based in Western Australia, led by a parent who is a Physical Education teacher, with a strong focus on youth development, sport, and wellbeing. Our goal is not only to support Henry and Charlotte in reaching their potential, but to use this journey to inspire others. In the long term, they aspire to achieve their black belts and open their own gym, where they can coach and mentor the next generation—helping young people build confidence, discipline, and healthy habits both on and off the mats.
