    ABOUT Che Latu

Help Me Chase My Dream of Representing Australia Through Sport🏈

Hi, my name is Che Latu, and I’m a 15-year-old student-athlete from Queensland with a dream of one day competing at the highest level of American Football while earning an education through sport.

I have recently been honoured with selection in the 2026 Australian U16 Tackle Football Team, where I will proudly represent Australia internationally. Alongside this, I have also been selected to represent Met East Rugby Union, making this an exciting but incredibly demanding year of representative sport.

Sport has always been a huge part of my life. I currently compete in American Football, Rugby League, and Rugby Union, while balancing school at Marsden State High School, training, recovery, and my long-term goals as an athlete.

American Football has become a real passion of mine. I love the discipline, teamwork, physical challenge, and the opportunity it creates both on and off the field. My dream is to continue developing, represent Australia at higher levels, and one day pursue opportunities in the United States through football and education.

Being selected to represent your state and country is an incredible privilege, but opportunities like these also come with significant costs. Between team fees, travel, flights, accommodation, uniforms, and competition expenses, the financial commitment adds up quickly for my family.

This fundraiser has been created to help support my journey and reduce some of the financial pressure so I can focus on training, development, and proudly representing my family, community, school, team, and Australia.

    How your support helps

    Your donation will go towards:

    🏈 Australian U16 Team fees

    ✈️ Flights and travel expenses

    🏨 Accommodation and tournament costs

    👕 Uniforms and representative gear

    📈 Ongoing athlete development opportunities

Every donation, big or small, genuinely makes a difference and helps me continue chasing opportunities I have worked hard to earn.

If you’re unable to donate, sharing my fundraiser with others would mean the world to me.

Thank you for believing in my journey and helping me pursue something I love.
