Hi, I’m Chelsea Robinson, and I’m incredibly proud to have been selected in the 2026 Australian Women’s National Softball Team.

Softball has a strong Olympic history for Australia, with medals in 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008. With the sport returning for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, my goal is to help continue that legacy and represent Australia on the world stage.

In 2026, I’ll be representing Australia at the World Qualifier in Prague and the USA Softball International Cup in Oklahoma—both key steps toward Olympic qualification.

While this opportunity is incredibly exciting, it also comes with significant personal costs. Like many athletes in our sport, I am required to self-fund, with expected out-of-pocket expenses of around $20,000 for the year to cover travel, accommodation, and competition costs. In addition, I will need to take unpaid leave from work to attend these events, which adds further financial pressure on my family.

I’m reaching out for support to help make this journey possible. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly toward helping me represent Australia and compete at the highest level.
