For over 85 years, Chelsea has been a leading 'off the beach' sailing club catering to dinghy and catamaran classes and now also supports local paddleboarders, kayakers, windsurfers and swimmers. We cater to all levels, and our members are ready to help the inexperienced. The Club offers boat and board storage options at both the foreshore Club building and at our indoor boat self-storage and workshop facility, "The Boat Hub", in Chelsea Heights.

We run a series of 'Come and Try Sailing' and 'Start Sailing' programs that are open to anyone - you don't need to be a member!

Learn to Sail programs extend from the primary school age 'Tackers' program, through to adult 'Start Sailing', 'Better Sailing' and 'Green Fleet' courses. Members receive significant discounts on Learn to Sail courses. 

We are predominantly a volunteer-driven Yacht Club and are constantly trying to raise funds for member improvements, sailing equipment, repairs and anything else that can benefit the club and its members.
