The Collingwood Basketball Association serves one of the most diverse basketball communities in Victoria. Our reach extends across Collingwood and surrounding suburbs, connecting diverse communities through accessible and inclusive basketball programs.

Our participants include people from migrant and refugee backgrounds, including strong South Sudanese representation, First Nations communities, and LGBTQ+ participants, alongside families from public housing and low socioeconomic backgrounds.

This diversity is a strength. It shapes how we design programs, support volunteers, partner with community organisations, and define success.

Inclusion at the Collingwood Basketball Association is not an add on. It is core business and a practical driver of participation, trust, and long-term sustainability.
