Lets send Zac Carley to Australian Swimming Championships Oct 2025 Campaign

Zac Carley is a 22 year old Down Syndrome swimmer.

Over the past few months Zac has been swim training hard in the BE Coaching program coached by Todd Robinson representing Palm Beach Currumbin Swimming Club.

During this time he has swum in local swim meets and qualified for State level racing. At the recent short course Queensland State Championships Zac qualified for 3 races at National level.

This is exciting because in the Paralympic pathways Zac has now been re-classified in the S18 category. This is a new category which should give him a newer ranking for competition.

At the QLD State champs Zac was fastest in this Category giving him plenty of confidence going into the Australian Championships to be swum in Melbourne October 1-3 .

We are hoping to raise enough money to fly Zac to Melbourne for 5 days with accommodation. He will be accompanied by Steve Cornelius Founding Director of Community Concepts.

Community Concepts runs the Gold Coast Open Water Swimming Club. The objects for which the Gold Coast Open Water Swimming Club is established are to promote aquatic sports for the whole community for all to participate in no matter whether they are elite, disabled, old or young and with no limits for participants from disadvantaged backgrounds for both local and international competitors & to make these activities a truly memorable experience to last a lifetime.

The Zac Carley Campaign certainly fits our profile for supporting and I believe will be a truly motivating campaign for our community and for Zac Carley.
