Cooroy Gymnastics Club is not your typical sports club.

Nestled in the Noosa hinterland on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, we are a grassroots, community-powered club built on passion, perseverance, and an extraordinary regional spirit. We are a not-for-profit club without large budgets. What we do have is a dedicated community of gymnasts, coaches, volunteers, and families who believe in the life-changing impact of sport.

Every week, children walk through our doors to learn far more than gymnastics skills. They build confidence, resilience, friendships, and a sense of belonging. Our philosophy is simple: when young people feel safe, supported, and valued, they thrive. The medals and results are simply the bonus.

That approach is working. In 2026, our senior women's and junior men's artistic gymnastics teams achieved their strongest competition results in club history. At the same time, our membership grew by almost 20% in Term 2 alone, reflecting the trust local families place in our programs and culture.

As our club continues to grow, so does the need for better facilities and equipment to support our gymnasts. We are raising funds to invest directly back into our club and athletes, ensuring every child has access to a safe, positive, and inspiring environment in which to learn, grow and succeed.

Every dollar raised will help us strengthen our programs, improve our training environment, and create more opportunities for local children to participate in gymnastics regardless of their background or experience.

We are proud of what our small regional club has achieved, but we know the best is still ahead of us. With your support, we can continue building a club where young people develop not only as athletes, but as confident, capable members of our community.
