Hi, I’m Corey Anderson, a proud para-athlete representing Australian Athletics, based in Brisbane (Banksia Beach). My journey into sport started in a pretty fun way… watching an old-school Macca’s ad for Little Athletics sparked something in me. Who knew a TV commercial would light the fire for what’s become a lifelong passion?

Fast forward to today, and I’ve been lucky to experience some incredible milestones. Competing at the 2019 World Championships  and becoming World Champion was a huge moment. But nothing beats the pride of going to the 2024 Paris Paralympics with my young son Alex cheering me on. That was magic.

Right now, I’m working to get back to peak form, and long-term I’ve got one big goal: to medal at the Paralympics. I’m loyal to this sport, determined to give my best, and every step I take is for my family.

Outside of sport, I’m all about gaming (Call of Duty especially!), hanging with Alex, and walking our dog Hercules. I’m also a qualified Personal Trainer, and I’ve coached my son’s rugby league team, giving back where I can.
