Founded over a century ago in 1908, Cottesloe Golf Club established its first links course close by the sea, where the existing Sea View Golf Club is now.

ABOUT Cottesloe Golf Club
The Cottesloe Golf Club Foundation has been established with the objective of creating a reserve of funds from donations, bequests, approved events and third party sources to be applied for the purposes described below.
The Foundation is a separate body, independent from the Club’s board and management, under the supervision of a board of Trustees who administer and disburse funds in accordance with the prudential structures contained in the Deed of Establishment.
Purpose
The Cottesloe Golf Club Foundation aims to be a source of financial support to create a healthy reserve of funds for the ongoing viability of Cottesloe Golf Club, that is not otherwise available to the Club via membership subscriptions and entrance fees.
The Club is the custodian of the land upon which the course and facilities are located.
Funds raised are applied for the purposes set out in the Deed of Establishment.
i) assist in funding the acquisition of assets for the Club, the development of new Club facilities and capital projects or improvements to existing assets of the Club;
ii) enhance the golf course and practice facilities;
iii) preserve and maintain the Club facilities and the golf course;
iv) improve the amenity of the Club and its participation in the local community and any other pastime, recreational and social activities as determined ;
v) develop and foster junior golf and related leisure or sporting pursuits at the Club; and
vi) support projects that aim to preserve the heritage of the Club.
