We are the oldest rugby club in Western Australia, having been founded in 1893. We pride ourself on developing homegrown talent and in making new members welcome, from across the community and indeed globally.  We have a strong playing group of more than 450 members including men&#39;s, women&#39;s and junior players. Since 1893, our Club has developed a tremendous history and won many accolades, both on and off the field.  More importantly we have a strong community and social spirit that is fundamental to who we are and underpins our values. Our Club is fortunate to have the volunteer services of many past players and longstanding members who take a hand in the responsible governance of our Club. The Cottesloe Rugby Club maintains the Jason and Alice Injured Players Support Fund as a legacy initiative established following the sad and unexpected passing of Jason Francis and Alice Robinson in 2018. During this period, the Cottesloe community raised funds to support the families with funeral-related expenses; however, the families elected that the money raised would be best preserved for the benefit of current and future Cottesloe players. This decision formed the foundation of the Fund as it exists today. The Fund provides short-term financial assistance to senior players injured while representing the Club who experience loss of income or unexpected living or medical expenses. It is designed to ensure that players facing hardship due to injury are supported promptly and fairly.
