At just 13 years old, Cruz Smith has already achieved what many young racers spend years chasing: becoming an Australian State Karting Champion.

But now, Cruz faces a challenge that could shape the next stage of his racing journey.

He has been invited to compete in Las Vegas against talented young drivers from around the world — but getting there requires more than determination and ability. It requires the support of people and businesses willing to help make this opportunity possible.

For Cruz, this is more than another race.

It is the chance to represent Australia, test himself against international competition and take an important step towards his future in motorsport.

FROM STATE CHAMPION TO INTERNATIONAL COMPETITOR

Cruz has spent years building his skills, travelling thousands of kilometres across Australia to train and compete against some of the country’s strongest young drivers.

Every result has been earned through early mornings, long journeys, demanding preparation and the commitment required to keep improving.

Behind the helmet is a young athlete who has already shown the discipline, resilience and determination to compete at the highest level available to him in Australia.

Now he has the opportunity to find out how he measures up on the world stage.

THE LAS VEGAS OPPORTUNITY

Competing in Las Vegas would place Cruz alongside young drivers from across the globe.

It would challenge him in a completely new environment, expose him to international standards and give him experience that cannot be replicated at home.

He will have the opportunity to:

● Represent Australia on the international karting stage

● Compete against some of the world’s most promising young drivers

● Learn from a higher level of competition

● Develop the skills and confidence needed for the next stage of his career

● Create memories and experience that could influence his future in motorsport

But this opportunity is time-sensitive. Without financial support, the cost of travelling and competing internationally may place it beyond reach.

WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS

Motorsport carries significant costs, particularly at an international level.

Flights, accommodation, race entry fees, kart and engine packages, equipment, transport and trackside support all add up quickly.

Through our Australian Sports Foundation fundraising campaign, we are asking Australian businesses, sporting supporters and members of the community to help Cruz get to the starting grid.

Your contribution will not simply help fund a trip.

It will help give a young Australian athlete the opportunity to compete, learn and represent his country on an international stage.

Whether you contribute $100, $1,000 or more, your support can make a meaningful difference. Every donation brings Cruz closer to Las Vegas and helps turn years of hard work into a genuine international opportunity.

AN OPPORTUNITY WORTH BACKING

No one can predict exactly where a young athlete’s journey will lead.

What we do know is that Cruz has already demonstrated the commitment, ability and determination to earn this opportunity.

He has proven himself as an Australian State Champion.

Now he deserves the chance to test himself against the world.

For corporate supporters, this is an opportunity to stand behind a determined young Australian athlete and become part of his journey from preparation at home to the international starting grid in Las Vegas.

Your support can help Cruz arrive prepared, confident and ready to represent Australia.
