ABOUT Cudgegong Valley Physical Culture
Cudgegong Valley Physical Culture is a passionate, women-led community group committed to empowering girls and women of all ages across the Mid-Western Regional Council through movement, connection, and fun. For over forty years, we’ve fostered confidence, friendships, and wellbeing in vibrant, inclusive classes blending dance and fitness styles for every age and ability.
We know that Physie, and many other grassroots sports, are about far more than physical activity—they build resilience, leadership, and lifelong skills. Yet without a dedicated multipurpose hall, our growing classes and local youth sports groups cannot train, gather, or celebrate together safely. Theatre spaces and small shared rooms simply aren’t fit for large, active groups or diverse community events.
Our vision is to bring top-quality centres—like Erina Centre, Bowman Hall, and Riverwood Community Centre—to the Mid-Western region. These facilities set up young athletes for success, giving them safe, modern spaces to develop their abilities, teamwork, and confidence from the ground up. By fundraising for a new multipurpose hall, we’ll create a lasting hub for Cudgegong Valley Physie and provide training, event, and celebration space for every grassroots group in our area.
We are women supporting women: dedicated volunteers, teachers, mums, and friends, guided by our club values—Connect, Inspire, and Uplift. With the help of families, leaders, and donors, we’re determined to build a legacy for the Mid-Western communities—a true home where every athlete and group can belong, move, and thrive.
