    ABOUT Daniel bithell

My Journey in Inline Speed Skating

Since discovering my love for racing in July 2018, I’ve faced many challenges and made countless sacrifices in pursuit of excellence in my sport. Along the way, I’ve developed a wide range of skills both as a skater and as a coach, continually expanding my knowledge to unlock my full potential and better support others in their development.

In 2023, I had the opportunity to compete at the Korean Namwon Championships and the Inline Speed Skating World Championships in Vicenza, Italy. While my results weren’t what I had hoped for, my passion for the sport only deepened. Over the past year and a half, I’ve focused heavily on improving my skills—both on and off the track—by completing a Certificate III & IV in Personal Training. This has helped me grow not only as an athlete, but also as a dedicated coach within my club.

I am proudly Aboriginal, a member of the Wotjobaluk Nation, and currently sponsored by Sipena Logistics, whose support has been instrumental in helping me chase my goals.

Looking ahead, my next major milestone is to be selected for the 2026 World Roller Games as a sprinter. To achieve this, I plan to train on world-class banked tracks in either Colombia or Taipei, working with elite coaches to take my skills to the next level. With your continued support, I aim to represent both my culture and my community with pride on the international stage.
