My name is Daniel Links and I am an Australian 49er sailor campaigning toward the LA 2028 Olympic Games, with the longer-term goal of competing at Brisbane 2032.

The 49er is the men’s Olympic skiff class. It is fast, physical, technical and demanding, and competing at the highest level requires world-class training, coaching, equipment and regular international racing experience.

My goal is to become one of the leading 49er sailors in the world and put myself in a position to represent Australia at the Olympic Games.

I am fully committed to this campaign and to doing the work required every day. My focus is on improving my boat speed, race craft, starting, decision-making, fitness and consistency under pressure. I am also committed to learning from every training session and every international regatta so I can keep progressing toward the level required to compete with the best sailors in the world.

Recent international racing has shown strong progress. I have demonstrated competitive speed, strong starting ability and the potential to race near the front of high-quality international fleets. The next step is to convert that potential into consistent results across major regattas.

An Olympic sailing campaign is a significant financial commitment. Funds raised through this page will help support the costs of:
