Help Me Represent Australia at the Asia Pacific Senior Championships

If you know me, you'll know that touch football has been a huge part of my life since I was a kid. It's a sport that has challenged me, driven me and, most importantly, introduced me to lifelong friendships, some that began more than 30 years ago. It's given me countless memories, and opportunities not only as a player but also through coaching, volunteering and giving back to the sport that's given me so much.

This October, I'll have the incredible honour of representing Australia in the Men's 40's, at the Asia Pacific Senior Championships in Utsunomiya, Japan. Wearing the green and gold is something I have dreamed about for many years, and being selected is a privilege I don't take for granted.

Representing Australia is an incredible honour, but it's also a significant financial commitment. The team levy, which covers accommodation, insurance, medical support, team doctors, physiotherapists and other tournament costs, is expected to be around $4,000. When flights, training camps, accommodation and local travel expenses are added, the total cost of the campaign will be close to $8,000.

I would never let the cost stop me from chasing this opportunity, but I am reaching out to ask for your support. Whether it's big, small or anything in between, any donation you're able to provide, will help reduce the financial burden and allow me to focus on preparing to represent Australia.

While I don't expect to cover every expense, my goal is to raise around $5,000, which would significantly offset the team levy and travel costs. If you're able to support me, thank you. Your generosity, no matter how big or small, genuinely means a great deal.
