As a younger player I had a reasonably unsuccessful playing hockey career. I never represented Tasmania as a player and never imagined I'd get the opportunity to put the national uniform on for anything other than supporting our national teams. As I've graduated into the Masters age groups I've found a new level of success and late form in my career. First representing Tasmania in 2023 and then 35+ Australia A team in the Masters World Cup in Cape Town, South Africa in 2025. This will be the second World Cup appearance for Australia A 35+ and I cannot wait for the challenge and experience of representing my country in my chosen sport.

Unfortunately, this representation is not cheap, with the costs in the thousands just to get to the tournament and all self-funded. I am seeking donations toward the costs of my Aus representation to play the game I love amongst the best masters’ players in the world in July/ August 2026.
