⚓ Purpose of the Fund

Dinah Beach Cruising Yacht Association (DBCYA), a popular Darwin inner harbour yacht and social club, is raising money to replace its aging floating pontoon, a harbour fixture that has served the marine community for 30 years. It's a key landside link for dinghies used by local yacht owners, visiting skippers and crews, and yacht rally participants passing through Darwin.

📍 Location & Usage

• Situated between Tipperary Waters Marina and Fisherman’s Wharf
• Owned and managed by DBCYA
• Accessible during 95% of tidal conditions
• Serves up to 100 moorings in nearby Sadgroves Creek
• Utilized by local, interstate and international yacht owners and crew

💰 Fundraising Goals

• Estimated cost: $200,000–$300,000
• Targeting 10% from local individuals and businesses
• Seeking additional corporate sponsorships
• All donations are tax-deductible, with careful stewardship promised
