Have been kicking a ball since I could walk and playing soccer since I was old enough to. State team selection and representation is the goal I am currently working towards. I train 4 days a week, 2 days as part of my club team and 2 days as part of my regional academy team. This year we travel for state championships being first year in competitive age group. This is the only recognised pathway to state selection and its a lengthy process over a number of years building your profile and competing at events to be identified. This is a cost in the program as well as travel and accommodation during school holiday periods where it doesnt clash with local competitions but also makes it cost more as its peak season travel. In addition 4 days a week training takes a toll on my equipment. I go through at least 2 quality pairs of boots a season. It would be great to get some support and backing behind my participation in the sport.
