    My name is Dean Hecker, and I am honoured to represent Australia in Alpine Snowboard Racing at the 2027 Winter Deaflympics in Seefeld, Tirol, Austria.


    This will be my fifth Deaflympics and my first Winter Deaflympics in almost two decades. After 17 years away from international competition building a beautiful family, I have earned the opportunity to wear the green and gold once again and compete against the world's best Deaf snowboard athletes.
