The Women’s Football Alliance has announced a huge milestone for women’s tackle football — the inaugural 2026 WFA World Bowl. The game will feature the WFA All-Pro Team, made up of the best players in the league, taking on Team World, an international squad featuring elite athletes from countries including Australia, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras, and the Netherlands.

The event will be held on July 25, 2026, at the iconic Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio — home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame — and broadcast live on Amazon Prime to millions of viewers worldwide.

This game is being promoted as a defining moment for the global growth of women’s football, showcasing international talent on one of the sport’s biggest stages. The WFA says the World Bowl represents the continued professionalisation and expansion of women’s tackle football across the world.

With me selected to play for Team World, this is an incredible opportunity to represent Australia on an international stage against the very best athletes in the sport. The trip itself is funded, which removes the major financial burden of travel and accommodation, but every dollar of support still helps with preparation costs, equipment, recovery, time away from work, and making the most of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
