The District Council of Elliston is proud to support Bucky’s Beach Relay, a much loved local fundraiser that brings our community together with purpose and spirit. This year the Relay team has chosen to direct funds raised toward the early development of a future community gymnasium for Elliston.

Council is committed to strengthening the health and wellbeing of our district. A community gym has been a consistent request from residents and aligns with our strategic focus on creating accessible spaces that support physical activity, social connection and community pride. While the project is still in its early planning stages, support from the Relay will help us progress the groundwork needed to scope and design a facility that reflects local needs.

As we move through this early phase, Council will continue to listen to the community, engage with young people through the school and work with local groups to ensure the design and planning process is genuinely community led. This approach supports our vision for an active, connected and resilient district.

Bucky’s Beach Relay reflects the best of Elliston. It is run by passionate locals who care deeply about the future of our town and who continue to rally people together for a cause that benefits everyone.
